The Self-Sufficiency Program has grown out of an awareness that ongoing handouts, while helpful in a crisis situation, can lead to dependency that does not eliminate poverty, hunger or homelessness.

Our program is an attempt to assist individuals to find what they need to survive and thrive here in Rappahannock.  The program provides one on one, individualized attention to establish, implement and achieve career and life goals. The program is open to any individual who is interested and committed to making a change in their life.
